There are various resources you can use to check your credit. (Credit Karma, WalletHub, etc.) When you check your own credit it is known as a soft inquiry, which does not impact your credit score negatively.

A lot of people think that checking their own credit will negatively impact their credit score.

Fact:
Checking your own credit score is referred to as a Soft Inquiry. It does not negatively impact your credit score and you can check as many times as your credit service provider allows.
